Under supervision of the Central Service Supervisor, maintain and prepare equipment, instruments, surgical implants and medical supplies for use in surgeries and VMTH following established protocols. Disassemble, clean, disinfect, reassemble, inspect, and sterilize functional instruments and equipment for surgical services. Operate and maintain sterilizers, ultrasonic washers and other equipment related to the preparation and processing of surgical instruments, implants and supplies. Perform quality control tests on sterilizers and document results. Utilize computer programs to help maintain inventories of surgical implants, instruments and supplies. Receive, inventory, and distribute and dispense hospital supplies. Apply By Date RECRUITMENT PERIOD ONE MONTH: Applicants will be screened after two weeks; and then on a weekly basis. The position can be filled prior to the removal date. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position * Certification Board for Sterile Processing & Distribution Preferred Qualifications * Experience receiving and distributing bulk freight.
