Overview The GIS Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of our designer tool that will address required changes to internal business processes, systems and technology. This will include overseeing the layout tool continuing support and configuring to work with Phase 2 Primary and Phase 3 C&DO when those maps join the eGIS platform. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for supporting activities associated with phase 2 and 3 of the GIS project such as data quality review, system implementation testing and system integration efforts.The applicant must possess extensive knowledge of the Microstation layout system and though understanding of electric business workflow process from layouts creation to mapping and WMS system. The candidate will lead the Company's efforts to roll out new layout design tool systemwide and support functional and integration efforts of the design tool with WMS and GIS systems. In addition, there will be responsibilities associated with the deployment of maps associated with Phase 2 and 3 The candidate is expected to lead the project workshops, various workstream discussions and participate in meetings between project vendor, GIS core team and end users. The candidate will be involved in benchmarking efforts, reviewing existing business process and coming up with the possible new workflows. In depth knowledge of Engineering mapping, layouts process, Project wise and good understanding of WMS system (WR creation, CUs, work components, WR closure) is must for this position. Position will oversee the implementation and use of the DXI layout application. Will oversee the eGIS DXI support team. Will oversee the issuance of all DXI layouts in the Electric Control Centers issued by their Soax, Regional Engineering Departments issued by Engineering Supervisors and Senior Designers and Gas Engineering's eGIS governance team including a senior specialist. Will oversee SAT testing for Phase 3 of the eGIS project including the Specialist and contractors doing testing.

- Lead communication point between Con Edison and Schneider Electric/RAMTeCH for designer tasks associated with designer roll out and integration activities
- Primary communication point between Con Edison and the System Integrator for system implementation and testing activities
- Lead production rollout efforts and support of product after go-live
- Support with the development of reports and presentations to company employees, including executives and all levels of management, as well as regulatory parties and external stakeholders.
- Supervise a diverse team, including direct reports and personnel from the Electric Control Centers SOAX and Regional Engineering designers.
- Perform other related tasks and assignments as required
Qualifications
Required Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree and Five (5) years of relevant work experience is required.
Relevant Work Experience
- Five years of experience and a proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment Required
- Five years of experience working in the Electric Operations mapping systems such as M&S maps, feeder prints and C&DO/Conduit maps as well as microstation, Required
- Strong leadership skills Required
- Strong proficiency in using Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project) Required
- Experience in leading and facilitating meetings and workshops Required
- Prior experience supervising staff Required
