About the Opportunity:

As a Driver / Utility Person you will, deliver and pick up product to and from our suppliers and customers, ensuring that parts are transported without damage and to the correct destination. Additionally, you will work in the shop on various tasks before and after making pickup and deliveries if needed.

Location: Eastford, CT

This is a full-time role 7:00 am to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday with occasional weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Pick up and deliver parts to and from the assigned destinations.
• Ensure parts are not damaged in transport
• Ensure proper paperwork accompanies correct parts
• Deburr / Clean parts (Only if there aren't deliveries or pickups to be made)
• Help in Shipping Department as needed (Only if there aren't deliveries or pickups to be made)
• Complete daily safety checklist
• Keep vehicle clean
• Observes all Company policies, rules, and regulations including good housekeeping, safety and security.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license
• Safe driving record
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk or hear and operate a motor vehicle. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to use a Hand Truck and a Pallet Jack.
