As the subject matter expert for all things mobility, you'll be pivotal in elevating the employee journey, developing scalable and innovative solutions for our rapidly growing organization, supporting and influencing cross-functional projects, and championing operational excellence. Success in this role requires a blend of program and project management capabilities, strong advisory skills, hands-on operational execution, and the ability to build effective partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop, execute, and continuously improve policies, processes, and workflows to ensure operational excellence, compliance, and scalability.
  • Own and execute project work assignments within scope, cost, time, and quality parameters, using data-driven processes and reporting for continual improvement and stakeholder alignment.
  • Identify and analyze risks; develop and implement mitigation strategies aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Cultivate relationships with internal partners (Payroll, Legal, Equity, HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, People Experience Team, etc.) to align on policy, process, and operational goals, ensuring positive employee experiences and program success.
  • Act as the primary contact for business leaders on global mobility and immigration queries, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Manage and consult with external partners (immigration counsel, relocation vendors, tax providers) to ensure service levels, drive results, and meet business needs.
  • Align project/program plans and resource utilization with company strategy, proactively communicating and collaborating across teams for optimal outcomes.
  • Host training, present updates, and communicate program enhancements to recruiters, HRBPs, and colleagues.
  • Lead after-action reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assess business and employee needs, determine feasibility and compliance, and make confident decisions with a sense of urgency, leveraging sound judgment when navigating ambiguity.
  • Provide reporting, insights, and recommendations to leadership to inform future strategy.
  • Responsible for end-to-end case management of global mobility and immigration matters, ensuring timely and accurate processing of employee cases.
  • Partnering with cross-functional partners and other internal stakeholders to promote understanding of, and adherence to, all required processes throughout the employee mobility lifecycle.
  • Execute key transactions, maintain documentation, trackers, and data accuracy.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives, ensuring seamless integration of the Global Mobility function.
  • Continuously review company policies and external trends to enhance offerings and compliance.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Accounting, Political Science, HR, Business, International Relations, Law, or other equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years progressive experience in global mobility, immigration (U.S. and outside of the U.S.), and/or relocation management within a fast-paced, multinational environment. Preference for demonstrated expertise across all three areas.
  • 2+ years experience in vendor management, with a proven track record of achieving high-quality results, meeting deadlines, and holding external partners accountable to performance standards.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project and program management, with hands-on experience planning, executing, and overseeing complex, multi-phase mobility or immigration initiatives. Proven ability to effectively prioritize and manage timelines and resources, proactively mitigate risks, and coordinate cross-functional teams and external vendors. Proficient in utilizing project management tools and methodologies to monitor progress, ensure accountability, drive ongoing process improvements, and deliver high-quality results within established deadlines.
  • Strong working knowledge of HRIS platforms (preferably Workday and Zendesk), with advanced proficiency in Google Workspace applications (Sheets, Slides, Docs, etc.) and Microsoft Office (Excel). Familiarity with leveraging a range of AI-powered support tools (such as ChatGPT, Helix, Glean, Gemini, etc.) to enhance efficiency and decision-making.
  • Operational and process-oriented mindset, with strong attention to detail and a proven ability to independently manage multiple projects or cases simultaneously. Must excel at establishing, following, and continuously optimizing workflows to ensure consistency and accuracy, while effectively prioritizing and juggling competing demands in a dynamic environment.
  • Effective stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear updates and provide insightful technical guidance to diverse audiences, as needed.
  • Proven experience independently managing end-to-end global mobility and/or immigration cases across multiple countries, including overseeing the full process from initiation through execution and resolution. Must demonstrate familiarity with a variety of case types, regulatory and compliance requirements, and best practices for delivering seamless support to internationally mobile employees.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of international immigration laws, global mobility policies, and compliance requirements. Experience in proactively identifying and mitigating risks to support organizational goals in a complex, multinational environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and utilize dashboard reporting tools to track key mobility and immigration metrics, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders through data-driven analysis.
  • Track record of exercising sound judgment and make effective decisions in ambiguous, high-pressure, or complex situations. Maintaining composure and clarity while navigating uncertainty and competing priorities.
  • Proven ability to effectively collaborate with and support individuals from diverse backgrounds, actively fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment that values different perspectives and promotes belonging.
  • Passion for continuous learning and growth, with a proactive approach to process improvement, and a track record for driving positive change within evolving or rapidly growing organizations.
  • Collaborative team player who consistently strives for excellence, actively contributes to shared goals, and demonstrates a positive, solution-oriented attitude within a high-performing team environment.
