Energy Transfer is a master limited partnership that owns and operates one of the largest and most diversified portfolios of energy assets in the United States. In total, the Company owns and operates approximately 120,000 miles of natural gas, crude oil, refined products, and natural gas liquids pipelines, terminals, and acquisition and marketing assets which are used to facilitate the purchase and sale of crude oil, natural gas, natural gas liquids, and refined products

The Construction & Project Specialist will support the planning and execution of office buildouts, renovations, and small to mid-sized capital projects across the Partnership's real estate portfolio. This role works closely with internal stakeholders, vendors, and contractors to coordinate activities, maintain project schedules, and ensure high-quality, cost-effective results that align with corporate standards.

Key Responsibilities



  • Assist in planning and executing construction and renovation projects across field, divisional, and regional offices
  • Track project milestones, timelines, and budgets; escalate delays or issues as needed
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal departments (IT, Facilities, Legal, Procurement, etc.) to ensure smooth project execution
  • Support permitting, utility setup (e.g., water/well, internet), and address applications
  • Maintain project documentation including floorplans, scopes of work, site photos, and closeout packages
  • Assist with office fit-outs including coordination of furnishings, equipment delivery, and punch list completion
  • Monitor site progress and provide status updates to the Operations Leads and Real Estate leadership
  • Ensure projects adhere to building standards, safety protocols, and brand expectations
  • Participate in project site visits, vendor walkthroughs, and inspections as required


Qualifications



  • 2+ years of experience supporting construction, facility, or tenant improvement projects
  • Strong understanding of construction project phases and terminology
  • Familiarity with permitting, site coordination, and vendor management
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project management software preferred
  • Ability to travel to project sites as needed
  • Comfortable reviewing and interpreting floorplans, schedules, and technical documents



Preferred



  • Experience supporting office or industrial facility renovations
  • Knowledge of utility coordination, permitting processes, and basic site logistics
  • Strong eye for quality and detail in construction or interior fit-out work
  • Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously and adjust to shifting priorities
