  • Level 3: Estimated annual base pay:
  • Total Base Pay Range: $104,800.00 (min)- $131,000.00 (mid) - $157,200.00 (max)USD Annual
  • Level 4: Estimated annual base pay:
  • Total Base Pay Range: $130,800.00 (min) - $163,500.00 (midpoint) - $196,200.00 (max) USD Annual

Are you ready to make your mark? If you're a The Senior/Staff Engineering Analyst we have an exciting opportunity for you. Reporting to Engineering Leadership, the Senior/Staff Engineering Analyst is responsible for conducting independent evaluations, selecting appropriate methods, and adapting or modifying standard techniques and procedures to execute a sequence of engineering tasks.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Plan, Execute, and Validate Analysis: Develop and execute detailed finite element analysis (FEA) plans, including hand calculations as needed. Create accurate models, perform simulations, validate results with experimental data, and refine models as necessary. Analysis disciplines may include Static Stress, Dynamic Stress, Modal Response, Shock and Vibration, Fatigue, Thermal, Fluid Dynamics, or Electromagnetics.
  • Support Failure Investigations and Risk Mitigation:Conduct analysis to support root cause failure investigations, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues. Collaborate with internal teams and customers to identify and mitigate design risks, ensuring alignment with requirements and constraints.
  • Mentorship, Collaboration, and Reviews: Provide technical mentorship to junior analysts, review their work for accuracy, and actively participate in design and peer reviews to improve the quality of deliverables.
  • Develop Tools and Techniques: Enhance analysis tools, methodologies, and best practices, and work with cross-functional teams to integrate these techniques into the design process for improved efficiency and accuracy.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare clear and comprehensive analysis reports and present findings to internal teams, management, and customers, ensuring effective communication of results and recommendations.
  • Support Failure Investigations and Risk Mitigation: Conduct analysis to support root cause failure investigations and collaborate with internal teams and customers to identify and mitigate design risks, ensuring alignment with requirements and constraints.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Ability to understand complex component function and testing requirements.
  • Ability to interpret engineering data and drawings pertinent to focus role area
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities effectively, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results
  • Actively participates in setting technical direction, leveraging expertise to guide project teams and ensure alignment with engineering objectives.
  • Advanced written/verbal communication skills and presentation skills; solid technical writing skills (procedures, reports, etc.)
  • Ability to effectively operate in the project team environment and communicate with customers
  • Knowledgeable with processes to automate FEA workflows, improve efficiency. Able to drive continuous improvement in simulation processes.
  • Proficient use and understanding of computer aided engineering tools for mechanical analysis; Finite Element Analysis, Equation solvers. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, drawings and geometric dimensioning and tolerances as well as shop standards and procedures

Level 3: (Senior)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Technical/Science Discipline Required
  • Master's Degree in Technical/Science Discipline Preferred
  • 2-5 years Professional Experience in related field

Level 4: (Staff)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Technical/Science Discipline Required
  • Master's Degree in Technical/Science Discipline Preferred
  • PhD in Technical/Science Discipline Preferred
  • 5-8 years Professional Experience in related field
