Position Description

We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager who will embrace our mission and drive results. The team structure is flat and collaborative. You will report to the Head of Product Marketing, but work closely with our product management counterparts, services experts, sales, solution engineers, and the demand generation team.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Partner with product management and the services team to become an expert on all user and business (decision-maker) personas for Deque products, training, and services.
  • Launches: Support the project management of launches, messaging development, content creation.
  • Content development: Support the marketing and sales teams by planning campaigns and developing content assets such as ebooks, blogs, whitepapers, web content, and webinars for the complete buyer journey.
  • Competitive Marketing: Develop processes and content to understand and monitor the competitive landscape, informing product and sales teams.
  • Win/Loss Analysis: Partner with the sales team to understand why we win or lose deals, turning those insights into improvements for our Go-To-Market (GTM) activities.
  • Channel/Partner Marketing: Develop content for the field and sales to enrich our partner marketing materials. This may include custom battlecards, solution collateral, and other assets to assist in partner sales.
  • Sales Enablement: Work collaboratively with sales, our accessibility experts, and strategic consultants to develop competitive battlecards, solution collateral, use cases, customer studies, and TCO/ROI assets to assist sales in progressing deals.

Requirements

  • 4-7 years of product & technical marketing experience.
  • Strong copywriting skills (please attach a work sample such as a blog or attributed article)
  • Solid track record of delivering demos, webinars, videos, technical collateral, benchmark documents, and ROI/value-oriented assessments.
  • Startup experience: Demonstrated curiosity, eagerness to learn, and the ability to adapt quickly to change and recover from setbacks.
  • Ideal: Background in web development or SDLC tools/platforms, and professional services marketing.
  • Channel / partner marketing experience.
