Job Purpose

Responsibilities:

Manage multiple Finance projects simultaneously. Work closely with both business & IT management to help identify, evaluate, prioritize and schedule potential new project work within a portfolio road map. This includes managing and prioritizing requests and ideas for projects as well as developing recommended solutions to business issues. Seek opportunities for continuous process improvement and process re-engineering activity worldwide.

Take ownership and demonstrate clear leadership of assigned projects: Ensure compliance with, and leverage the IT Governance process, to effectively communicate project expectations (requirements, priorities, resources, cost benefit analysis, risks, etc), progress and status to the project team & management in a timely fashion.

Work closely with the IPM to contribute to and maintain a standard Governance, Project Management Lifecycle (PMLC) and Direct Charge methodology. Ensure a consistent application of the Governance, PMLC and Direct Charge methodology for all assigned projects from initial concept, design, and execution to post project review.

Manage assigned projects to achieve successful on time execution of project deliverables through a combination of personal leadership and by providing appropriate leadership guidance and coaching support to team members in line with project plans. This particularly includes, but is not limited to, the identification and resolution of potential barriers.

Become a subject matter expert in the specific project processes that are the subject of improvement efforts. The goal is to enable closer partnership and involvement of IT with Finance at all levels. Manage the preparation of detailed analysis and documentation to support knowledge transfer & sharing.

Education and Experience

Working knowledge of Finance such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Treasury or Financial Planning & Analysis. Familiarity with a major financial management application such as Tagetik, Oracle, SAP is a benefit. Familiarity with project management best practices and a project management application such as Planview, MS Project or Smartsheets.

Skills :

Well organized and self-motivated with proven results showing ability to influence, work with cross functional teams and pull together disparate resources into a high performing team.

Confident leader with the ability to motivate a team by example and advise and coach team members.

Good customer focus and excellent communication & report writing abilities.

English is the primary language of communication.

Ability to communicate effectively and work with all levels within the organization.

Excellent Google Workplace skills

Education

University degree or equivalent in either Information Technology, Finance or Business

Experience:

.Minimum of 5 years related experience. The 5 years can be made up of both Finance and Project Management with at least 3 years being Finance in a manufacturing organization.

Salary Range(annual): $100,000 - $120,000 . Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. The total rewards package also includes a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program.
