THE POSITION

The Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency is seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic individual to lead our team within the Unit of Criminal Justice Improvements in the Office of Justice Programs. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Program Analyst 4, you will serve as the agency's State Crisis Intervention Program Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for providing management, technical assistance, and analysis within the Unit of Criminal Justice Improvements. You will work with the Deputy Director to analyze criminal justice system issues, provide technical oversight, and assign and administer grant funds related to criminal justice, behavioral and mental health, substance use, overdose reduction, crisis response, and reentry initiatives. Some of your duties will include managing the development and administration of measures and surveys, analyzing and evaluating outcomes and data, preparing reports, and making recommendations based on findings. You can expect to supervise and engage in planning, developing and monitoring programs, as well as analyzing funding needs. Additionally, you will lead and direct agency staff and consultants who may not report directly to you or work within the agency.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. You will need to report to the office at least 1 day per month. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year as a Program Analyst 3 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • Four years of analytical experience, three of which include professional experience in program evaluation and the development of program recommendations, and a bachelor's degree; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
