Summary

LG Electronics U.S.A., Inc. is currently recruiting for a Tax Analyst to join its North America Tax Team based in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. This position will primarily be responsible for management reporting of LG's operations and tax results in the United States, Mexico and Canada, and will also support the North America tax compliance and research functions. This position will involve frequent interaction with tax, finance and other business unit colleagues and Senior Management in the North America region as well as Headquarters in Korea.

Responsibilities

Management Reporting:



  • Preparing tax issue updates and participating in presentations to the Headquarters Tax Team.
  • Preparing issue agendas and participating in North America Tax Team meetings.
  • Preparing corporate income tax payment schedules and cash flow forecasts.
  • Maintaining tax risk management reports.
  • Preparing business results packages and participating in presentations to Senior Management.
  • Updating tax audit history reports.
  • Preparing major tax items reports and presenting them to the Headquarters Tax Team when necessary.
  • Gathering and updating information related to the Company's subsidiaries.
  • Supporting other reporting requirements as necessary.


Tax Compliance and Research Support:



  • Assisting with North America federal, state/provincial and local tax research projects as necessary to support current and future business transactions or operations.
  • Researching federal, state/provincial and local tax compliance requirements and incentives and preparing tax simulations based on proposed business models.
  • Reporting the status of tax incentives to Senior Management and other stakeholders.



Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a minimum of 3 years of experience with U.S. tax compliance, research and reporting.
  • Experience with Mexican and Canadian tax compliance is a plus.
  • Must be bilingual in English and Korean.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word.


Recruiting Range
$75,000 - $95,000 USD
