About this role: Reporting to the Sales Marketing Director, the Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the delivery and success of exhibitor marketing initiatives and campaigns for the Informa Markets Infrastructure & Construction portfolio. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to collaborate with various teams, create impactful content, and support the execution of marketing strategies across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and a team player who thrives working across various teams. The focus may vary daily, from managing customer data segments to copywriting, project management and execution of marketing collateral to helping maintain brand websites. Key Responsibilities:
- Write creative and impactful copy for various purposes, platforms, and channels and work with cross-functional teams to optimize marketing copy.
- Develop and manage marketing materials by sourcing content and data from relevant stakeholders, collaborating with the design team, editing images, and proofreading to ensure accuracy and quality. Update content regularly to maintain relevance throughout the year.
- Organize and input marketing content into digital platforms, share assets with key stakeholders, and maintain organized file management within the shared drive.
- Participate in the peer review process by proofreading, fact-checking, and offering constructive feedback to ensure all marketing initiatives meet high-quality standards.
- Assist with the reporting of all marketing campaigns by gathering data, formatting for clarity, and compiling final reports for distribution to stakeholders.
- Assist with email data segmentation by updating data sources, running data reports, formatting data files, and ensuring accurate uploads into relevant systems
- Manage and update marketing materials and resources, coordinating timelines and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver content on time.
- Support brand websites by updating content, writing copy, editing images, uploading assets, and submitting and managing support tickets.
- Actively contribute creative ideas for new campaign initiatives based on past campaign performance, current trends and understanding of marketing and business objectives.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices by attending webinars, training sessions, and educational events.
- Provide on-site and remote support for company events as needed, ensuring smooth execution and alignment with business goals.
- Support the Sales Marketing Director and sales marketing team on additional/other initiatives and projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, journalism, communications or equivalent years' work experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent attention to detail
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated and adapts to changing situations and requirements
- Strong interpersonal, problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Familiarity with digital marketing metrics and the ability to analyze and interpret data to create reports used to provide insight to key stakeholders
- Strong understanding of the foundations of digital marketing, including key concepts in email marketing, social media management, and digital advertising
- Proficiency in the use of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required
- Experience in website analytics, Photoshop, Canva, Eloqua, and Salesforce a plus
- Some travel may be required
- This role is Hybrid working in our Irving, TX office
- The pay range for this role is $50,000-$55,000 based on experience
