Position Summary

We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of electronic components and systems used in casino gaming products. This role involves determining design parameters, analyzing equipment performance, conducting experimental tests, and evaluating results to ensure cutting-edge solutions for gaming applications. The ideal candidate will select reliable components, document installation and maintenance procedures, and collaborate with users to define system requirements and modifications, all with a focus on advancing technology in the casino gaming industry.

Job Functions:

  • Assist senior staff in designing, developing, and testing electronic components, sub-assemblies, and systems.

  • Conduct research on electronic systems and components, focusing on emerging technologies in casino gaming applications.

  • Provide hands-on support for prototype development and testing.

  • Prepare detailed white papers summarizing research findings and experimental results.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with professionals across various disciplines and experience levels.

Qualifications
  • 7-10 years of experience in Electrical Hardware Research and Development, with a focus on embedded systems or computer architecture.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proven experience working with electronics, including computer motherboards, ARM-based single-board computers (SBCs), cameras/optics, DC brushed motors, and cable harness development.

  • Strong understanding of circuit design concepts, including the use of MCUs/MPUs, voltage regulators, transistors, and discrete logic components.

  • Board design, layout and prototyping for production applications.

  • Familiarity with computer components such as CPUs, GPUs, memory, SSDs, and high-speed communication interfaces.

  • Basic understanding of firmware, FPGA, and software development.

  • Demonstrated ability to build, repair, and troubleshoot electronic systems and sub-assemblies.

  • Skilled in preparing written and oral reports on research and design tasks.
