*Description*
Accurately post insurance and patient payments, adjustments, and denials into the billing system. Reconcile daily deposits and ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted. Identify and escalate payment discrepancies or trends in denials Collaborate with billing and collections teams to ensure timely follow-up. Maintain detailed records of reconciliation activities and adjustments. Apply payments to the correct patient accounts and service dates. Match payments received with bank deposits and internal records. Flag and document denied claims for follow-up by billing or collections teams. Post contractual adjustments, write-offs, and other payment-related changes based on payer policies. Ensure accurate reflection of what is owed and what has been paid. *Skills* Customer service, Reconciliation *Top Skills Details* Customer service,Reconciliation *Additional Skills & Qualifications* 3- 5 years of experience in medical billing or payment posting, preferably in mental or behavioral health. Strong knowledge of insurance processes, EOBs, ERAs, and reconciliation. Experience with billing software (e.g., Kareo, SimplePractice, Athenahealth, or similar). High attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently in a remote environment. *Experience Level* Expert Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
