Job Title: Personal Finance Manager Job Description This role involves providing consumer credit counseling and administering debt management services. It focuses on recovering loan payments that might otherwise be lost due to members' financial difficulties. Responsibilities * Provide consumer credit counseling to members. * Administer debt management services effectively. * Recover loan payments affected by financial difficulties. * Evaluate and address member needs through critical thinking. * Apply innovative approaches to solve technical design issues. * Conduct systems analysis and evaluate workflows and procedures. Essential Skills * Experience in collections, sales, retail, administrative, and customer service. * Background in insurance and banking preferred. * Bachelor's or Associate degree with retail or sales experience preferred. * High School Diploma with collections or call center experience required. * Proficiency in using multiple computer systems. * Strong communication skills and empathy towards member situations. * Ability to think critically and creatively. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Financial background or banking experience is an advantage. * Experience in a call center or fast-paced environment with aggressive goals. * Working knowledge of consumer and credit card collections systems, policies, and procedures. * Effective skills in word processing and spreadsheet software. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Winchester, Virginia. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
