*Description*
We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to join our IT team in South San Francisco, CA. This role involves providing technical support across various platforms and devices, ensuring timely resolution of issues, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction in a fast-paced corporate environment. *Key Responsibilities* * Provide IT support via phone, email, chat, in-person, and remote tools * Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows 10/11, macOS, Office 365, BitLocker, and McAfee encryption * Support desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other peripherals * Use ServiceNow to manage and resolve incidents, tasks, and service requests * Ensure timely and accurate updates to service tickets * Collaborate with team members to meet service level agreements and customer expectations * Identify and recommend improvements to technical processes and workflows * Maintain compliance with corporate and divisional policies and procedures * Escalate complex issues appropriately and act as a technical point of contact when needed * Complete tasks assigned by dispatchers or management * Contribute to a collaborative, fast-paced team environment *Required Skills & Qualifications* * 3-5 years of desktop support experience in a corporate setting * Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, Office 365, and OneDrive * Experience with remote support tools such as Bomgar or RDP * Familiarity with virtual meeting platforms, especially Microsoft Teams * Proficiency with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms * Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills * Strong customer service orientation and communication skills (verbal and written) * Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in a dynamic environment *Technical Skills* * Windows 10/11, macOS * Active Directory, Office 365, OneDrive * Remote desktop tools (Bomgar, RDP) * ServiceNow ticketing system * BitLocker, McAfee encryption * Hardware imaging and deployment * General desktop and peripheral support *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
