Job Summary

Responsible for day-to-day support of delegated operations within the department. Works with other support staff to explore, develop, and maintain clinical operations support strategies to support departmental operations.

Essential Functions

  • Functions as the primary liaison between division and clinic system operations.

  • Monitors, develops, and coordinates operational support activities to improve practice management outcomes for identified initiatives.

  • Assists the administrative management team in the development and coordination of strategies to improve clinical operational workflow and efficiency.

  • Supervises the division administrative coordinator team. Assists the Administrative Director with determining qualifications, competencies, and performance expectations of staff; provides in-services as needed.

  • Assists in on boarding and de-boarding of practices. Coordinates provider on-boarding and orientation plans, multi-system access and EMR schedule build as appropriate.

  • Provides dashboards, initiative updates/reports and other key information to PHUSC leaders as requested.

  • Works collaboratively with division administrative team and PHUSC Legal Department to coordinate necessary legal agreements are in place with our business partners. Monitors the invoicing of the community agreements for timely payments for work delivered.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

  • Job has direct and/or indirect supervision of employees that may include final budget authority, hire/termination authority, performance appraisal responsibility and disciplinary authority. Job will be considered a member of management staff at Prisma Health and will have direct reports.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education - Bachelor's degree Business Administration or related field of study.

  • Experience - Five (5) years of experience working in a physician practice environment

In Lieu Of

  • Associate degree and seven (7) years of experience working in a physician practice environment or High School and nine (9) years of experience working in a physician practice environment.
