The Senior Administrator, EPM Systems will support the administration and maintenance of Henry Schein's Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Cloud system. This system plays a crucial role in consolidating global financial results into a centralized chart of accounts for internal management reporting, FP&A activities, and public filing purposes. The Senior Administrator will assist in managing the Planning Applications, ensuring accurate system updates, optimizing reporting processes, and collaborating with key business teams. This role requires technical expertise in Oracle EPM Cloud Planning, strong analytical skills, and the ability to support system enhancements, troubleshooting, and process improvements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with administration activities, including implementing monthly change management requests for planning applications, ensuring timely updates and accurate modifications.
  • Support the design, development, and documentation of Business Requirements (BRD), collaborating with business teams to gather requirements and define system architecture.
  • Maintain the development reporting pipeline, prioritize workload, and support dependencies across EPM and extended teams.
  • Participate in the development, testing, and implementation of application enhancements, including scripting changes and new EPM application development.
  • Provide support to end users, assisting with operational processes, data workflows, and troubleshooting system issues.
  • Participate in on-boarding of new acquisitions or G/L upgrades, with respect to data exchange mappings, and understanding of the operational financial cycles.
  • Assist in coordinating with third-party vendors regarding BRD workload and inquiries.
  • Support compliance activities by gathering SOX documentation and assisting with internal and external audit requests.
  • Participate in system enhancements, data integrity checks, and ensure accurate financial close and consolidation processes.
  • Collaborate on EPM application upgrades, ensuring best practices and process optimization.
  • Engage in special projects and perform other duties as needed.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Strong understanding of Oracle EPM Cloud Planning administration, including metadata management, data exchange, scripting, and security management. Capable of troubleshooting errors and ensuring seamless integration across platforms.
  • Experience in translating business requirements into system specifications and supporting BRD documentation for system enhancements and testing.
  • Proficient in financial close reporting processes, including internal management reports, intercompany reporting, and changes to legal entity reporting.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting system issues, performing data validation, and ensuring reporting accuracy using SmartView and other financial tools.
  • Ability to analyze system data output, conduct data integrity checks, and assist in optimizing planning and forecasting processes.

COMPLEXITY:

SUPERVISION:

Receive minimal instruction on day-to-day work and general instruction on new projects or assignments. May act as a resource to provide informal guidance for TSMs with less experience. Assignments can be broad in nature.

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:

Typically, to advance to a new job level, TSMs must demonstrate professional behavior and should consistently be at the high-end of meets expectations or consistently exceed expectations.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:

Typically 5 to 7 or more years of increasing expertise in terms of any applicable professional experience with a multidimensional database.

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent a plus. May hold one or more industry certifications; professional certification may be required to advance.

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.

The posted range for this position is $84,447 to $131,948 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.

This position is eligible for a bonus not reflected in the posted range.
