Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies.

Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment.

Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.

Works with engineers in conducting experiments.

Makes battery covers including raw mica cover inspection, polymer inspection, coating on mica, and daily workstation cleanup and upkeep.

Completes battery cover inspection, including coated mica inspections.

Must be detailed orientated, have fine hand motor skills, work well with other team members, and be self-motivated.

Preferred Qualifications:

Able to apply acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.

Able to work on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.

Able to follow established procedures on routine work; requires instructions only on new assignments.

Minimum Qualifications:

HS Diploma or Equivalent

Technical School or College Degree preferred.

Requires a minimum of 1 - 2 years of related experience
