Description and Requirements

The Lenovo AI Ecosystem Group is a newly formed organization targeted at transforming Lenovo's AI product offerings into a world class AI ecosystem environment that will make Lenovo the IT provider of choice for customers. The AI Ecosystem Go To Market Director will play a key role in the organization's success by ensuring successful launch & messaging of AI software releases

The AI Ecosystem Go To Market Director will be responsible for the inclusion of AI Ecosystem messaging in all appropriate client hardware marketing materials, as well as coordinating activities for the launch of the product & subsequent releases. This includes integrating messaging into various planned hardware launches and coordinating the push of independent marketing messaging through the various marketing & sales teams. This covers all segments (Consumer, SMB & Commercial) and will include success within the channel, telco and retail fronts. This also includes sales training & activation activities globally.

This person will be responsible for:

  • Marketing Message Inclusion: Collaborate with all relevant internal marketing organizations to ensure proper inclusion of AI Ecosystem messaging in their messaging & events
  • Messaging Cadence: Align with all relevant HW marketing teams (phones, tablets, PCs, Accessories) and with the AI Ecosystem Program Management team to create a messaging roadmap & plan for launches & enhancements
  • Training: Align with internal training organizations & sales teams to ensure AI Ecosystem training materials are appropriately provided to all relevant sales teams
  • GEO Sales Activation: Work with GEO teams to drive AI Ecosystem awareness/training opportunities and support those activities with relevant materials
  • Routes To Market: Role supports all routes to market and will include supporting efforts for internal sales, channel sales, eCom, telco & retail routes
  • BMS/Structure: Creating a cadence for the organization of regular BMS/coordination with all relevant organizations
  • Feedback: Establish feedback loops with all stakeholders to ensure refinement of messaging & ensure alignment with evolving customer needs & market dynamics

In this critical role, you will collaborate with key stakeholders including all leadership in the AI Ecosystem Team (Strategy, Product Management, Development) and with teams across the Intelligence Device Group & Software organizations to ensure the AI Ecosystem product launches & subsequent releases are appropriately supported by GTM activities. Focus will be working with the appropriate marketing & sales organizations globally.

The ideal candidate should possess experience in GTM, marketing & sales activities. They should have a track record of successfully supporting the launch and ongoing awareness of products. They should have global experience, the ability to build teams and able to work in a large cross-functional organization.

Success in this role depends on the ability to operate effectively across all levels - from executives to cross-functional teams - while driving alignment, momentum, and measurable outcomes. The ideal candidate will be agile in adapting GTM strategies to shifting priorities and evolving business needs. Building strong, trust-based relationships across global teams is key to unifying efforts, accelerating execution, and amplifying the impact of AI Ecosystem messaging. Success will ultimately be measured by the strength of product launches, consistency of messaging, and growth in market adoption and sales.

Position Requirements:

  • Develop a cadence of communication & collaboration across various marketing and sales organizations
  • Develops criteria for GTM success for the organization
  • Builds an effective team of diverse experiences & capabilities
  • Creates plans for GTM activities: marketing, training, events, sales enablement
  • Creates a conduit with the sales teams to enable success of the product and open communication with the sales teams for support
  • Creates plans for all routes to market including direct, channel, telco, retail & eCom
  • Drives accountability for the success of the messaging & ensures the AI Ecosystem product success
  • Helps drive excitement around the AI Ecosystem product internally & externally through GTM activities

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree required, Masters degree a plus
  • 10+ years of GTM, Marketing, Product Positioning or sales experience - software, product, services, etc
