Job Description
Manages, plans, coordinates, and provides support for HR Compliance functions including, but not limited to, HR regulatory readiness, HR Policy maintenance, risk management, process improvement and Special Projects. Ensures system development and maintenance, processes and technology support these areas. Acts as a resource for lower level staff.
Job Responsibility
1.Coordinates and supports the development and implementation of HR policies, processes, risk management and technology solutions to support HR Compliance initiatives.
2.Independently leads regulatory surveys (e.g., TJC, DOH, ACHC) from preparation through closeout, including securing and presenting documentation that meets regulatory standards.
3.Leads and facilitates training sessions for site people leaders on HR regulatory readiness, as needed.
4.Collaborates with HR Corporate and Site management in the development of processes and definitions of standard HR Policy and procedures for the organization.
5.Facilitates discussions regarding identified policy and practice discrepancies and on how to standardize and consolidate across the system. Prepares documentation for identified policy updates.
6.Maintains HR Policy Manual in facilitation with process stakeholders ensuring guidelines are aligned with current procedure, organizational needs, and all applicable regulatory/statutory requirements.
7.Works with HR Communications to introduce HR policy changes; coordinates with HRT/Total Rewards to ensure policies are accessible on the HR Portal.
8.Executes on various annual and periodic HR compliance initiatives, risk mitigation projects and related audits/assessments.
9.Works with technology partners, vendors and/or consultants to ensure leveraged data and related reports are reliable and well-maintained in line with department goals.
10.Operates under limited guidance and work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Job Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience, required.
- Intermediate in Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP), preferred.
- Hospital HR experience, preferred.
- Prior experience with regulatory surveys, preferred.
