POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for managing and maintaining our growing ecommerce platform webstore and company websites, optimizing user experience, and driving online sales through targeted digital marketing efforts (social media, promotions, etc.). You will play a key role in planning and leading improvement projects, analyzing web traffic, and executing creative product promotions. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment where your contributions will directly impact business growth.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ecommerce Webstore and Websites Management and Maintenance:

* Oversee daily operations and maintenance of the company's ecommerce webstore and websites to ensure functionality, accuracy, and up-to-date content.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., design, IT, and product teams) to ensure seamless integration of webstore features and updates.

* Regularly test and troubleshoot website functionality to improve user experience and performance.

2. Planning and Leading Improvement Projects:

* Plan, prioritize, and execute digital marketing projects to enhance the webstore experience, including optimizing website layout, navigation, and product pages.

* Lead initiatives for website enhancements, such as speed optimization, conversion rate improvement, and mobile responsiveness.

* Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful and timely completion of all digital initiatives.

3. Web Analytics:

* Monitor and analyze web traffic, user behavior, and other key performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or other analytics platforms.

* Provide regular reports and insights to the team, identifying trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities to increase traffic and sales.

* Use data to refine and optimize marketing strategies and website performance.

4. Social Media Marketing:

* Develop and execute social media campaigns that drive traffic to the webstore and enhance brand visibility.

* Collaborate, create and schedule posts on various platforms to engage with the audience and promote new products, sales, or promotions.

* Collaborate with influencers or other marketing channels to amplify the brand's online presence.

5. Product Promotion and Cataloging:

* Design visually appealing promotions for the webstore, including banners, product highlight features, and email marketing templates.

* Upload and help manage product images, descriptions, pricing, and inventory updates on the website.

* Ensure that product catalogs are properly categorized, up-to-date, and optimized for search engines and user experience.

6. Content Creation and Visual Design:

* Assist with creating high-quality visual content (images, graphics, videos) for product listings, social media, and email campaigns.

* Collaborate with the creative team to ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints.

7. SEO and SEM:

* Assist with SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic to the webstore.

* Monitor and implement changes to improve SEO performance across product pages.

* Support paid advertising campaigns (PPC) through Google Ads, social media ads, and other platforms as needed.

Requirements

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in E-Commerce, digital marketing or related roles.
  • Proficiency with B2B and/or B2C ecommerce program platforms (for example: ORO, Magento, SAP Commerce, Salesforce, etc.).
  • Experience with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.) and A/B testing.
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices and digital marketing tactics.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms.
  • Experience with graphic design software, Adobe Creative Suite, is a plus.
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Constand Contact, Mailchimp, etc.).
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and design.
  • Experience in ecommerce website design and user experience optimization.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, or other web development languages is a plus.
  • Familiarity with paid search advertising (Google Ads, Facebook Ads) is a plus.
  • Experience in product photography or graphic design is a plus.
