Security Professional - Industrial Site - Part Time

As a Security Professional - Industrial Site - Part Time in Pinetops, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with staff and visitors. You will contribute to a positive environment by working collaboratively with your team and upholding the highest standards of integrity and reliability.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.75 / Hour

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business premises and surrounding perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards to help to deter unwanted incidents.
• Assist employees, visitors, and contractors with directions and information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
