Overview:
Connection has a fantastic opportunity through our Technical Staffing division for a Desktop Support Technician. This is an onsite opportunity in the Greenfield, IN area. The opportunity is based on a contract basis with the possibility of extension. We offer excellent pay and benefits for contractors supporting a well-established manufacturing company. We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to support approximately 300 employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This hands-on role requires candidates to be comfortable staying active throughout the day and adhering to safety protocols, including the use of steel-toe footwear, safety glasses, and hearing protection in designated areas. This position is essential to maintaining efficient IT operations, delivering front-line technical support, troubleshooting issues within Microsoft environments, assisting with basic network tasks, and managing desktop hardware and software. The ideal candidate will bring both technical expertise and a strong customer service mindset, with the potential to grow into a full-time role. Responsibilities:
