Job Summary

Video Content Creator to support our digital storytelling efforts. This role is responsible for planning, shooting, editing, and producing engaging video content for use on our social media platforms, website, and other digital channels. The ideal candidate is a visual storyteller with a strong understanding of video production and a passion for promoting health education and student success.

Essential Functions

• Collaborate with the communications team to conceptualize and storyboard video content aligned with the college's brand and messaging.
• Film interviews, events, classroom activities, and promotional content using professional video equipment. Ensure high-quality audio and lighting during shoots.
• Edit raw footage into polished videos using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro). Create custom graphics and animations to support video content.
• Optimize videos for various platforms (e.g., Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, website).
• Organize and archive video assets for future use. * Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of Bachelor's Degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Proven experience in video production, editing, and motion graphics.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Strong storytelling skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Flexible schedule and availability to work on a per diem basis, including occasional evenings or weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with social media trends and platform-specific video formats.
• Basic photography skills are a plus.
• Experience in higher education or healthcare-related content.

Additional Information

This is a Part-Time per diem position classified as Non-Exempt. The offered pay is based on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
