Walton Family Foundation is seeking a poised, proactive, and adaptable professional to serve as the Coordinator to the Program Director of the Education Program of the Walton Family Foundation. What you will do

The Coordinator will serve as an essential partner in ensuring the smooth execution of daily operations for the Program Director of the Education Program and the team at large. This role requires excellent organizational skills, creation and execution of systematic support, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively. You will facilitate regular and timely communication with leaders, staff, and key external partners. This is an office-based role that includes in-person responsibilities-such as managing onsite logistics and supporting team operations-alongside virtual coordination and communication tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Support, and proactively manage, the schedule of the Education Program Director. Schedule internal and external meetings while providing timely communications with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Handle all in-person meeting logistics, including reserving meeting spaces, greeting and supporting guests, organizing catering, and supporting follow-ups.
  • Coordinate Program Director's travel logistics including flights, transportation, lodging and any other travel support as needed.
  • Track, monitor and execute on special projects assigned by the Director, including support for team-wide gatherings, grantee convenings and other leadership engagements.
  • Work closely with senior program staff to prepare, calendar, and support internal and external speaking engagements and
  • Manage credit card reports and departmental expenses, supporting the department's administrative budget.
  • Work collaboratively with other associates and administrative assistants to ensure best practices are adopted and a high-impact culture is nurtured.
  • Support in-person team operations and procedures including purchasing and maintaining office supplies, mailing and shipping, reserving conference rooms, and guest management/visitor calendar.
  • Other duties, as requested, to meet department and organizational needs.

Basic qualifications required for your success

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years' experience providing direct senior-level administrative and project support
  • Expert level in written and verbal communications skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated competence with tracking, coordinating and follow-up of priorities and projects
  • Superb professionalism and diplomacy; ability to interact with high-level individuals internally and externally
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize several projects

All offers of employment are contingent on your successful completion (where permitted by state law) of a confidentiality agreement, background check. In addition, you will need to provide proper identification verifying your eligibility to work in the United States on your first day of work.

Salary Range: $90,000-$105,000
