As a Security Professional - Healthcare Patrols in Gaithersburg, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and providing outstanding customer service and communication to all individuals on site. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity in every interaction.

Pay Rate: $23.75 / Hour

Responsibilities:

    Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions within the location, following established protocols for documentation and communication.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and guiding visitors as needed.
  • Support healthcare staff and visitors by providing information and assistance related to security-related matters.
  • Participate in emergency response activities, such as evacuations or medical emergencies, in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Maryland Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
