Job Description

Conxall is currently seeking for a Receiving Clerk to receive, inspect, and record shipments with raw material or products. A receiving clerk must have a great eye for detail and basic math skills. They must also have adequate physical strength to unload shipments as well as the clerical skills to update records and follow up with suppliers.



Location: On Site position Villa Park, IL


Shift- Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm


Pay: $17.50/Hour



Responsibilities include:



  • Loading/unloading trucks by hand or using material handling equipment.
  • Receiving and account for all incoming materials.
  • Identify and report damaged materials.
  • Handle related paperwork, check material received against the quantities ordered, report discrepancies.
  • Breakdown large quantities of parts into smaller containers by taking sample counts.
  • Ensure that all stock raw materials are stocked properly.
  • Help maintain stock locations in the warehouse.
  • Deliver incoming or requested materials to appropriate departments.
  • Assist with general activities of QC and shipping.
  • Work with supervisor to maintain good record keeping and housekeeping practices involving inventory.
  • Assist inventory clerk to ensure that transactions are properly recorded in the computer system.
  • Make recommendations for improvements to the receiving process or inventory system.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

Requirements:



  • Good math skills, strong analytical skills.
  • Previous material handling experience preferred.
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Able to work well with others.
  • Able to use material handling equipment (possibly including driving a fork-lift truck).
  • Able to perform many physical tasks which may include, but are not limited to, moving heavy boxes, cable spools, etc.
  • Able to pick up, carry, and move items up to 50 pounds; over 50 pounds on occasion.
  • Able to stand or walk most of the day.
