Job Title: Maintenance Technician - Production Line

Location: Cabazon, CA

Pay Rate: Up to $37/hour

Type: Temp-to-Hire (3-month contract with potential for permanent hire)

Shift: Rotating - 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on | 5:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Overview:

We're looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support production line operations at our Cabazon, CA facility. This role requires a mechanically inclined professional who thrives in fast-paced manufacturing environments. You'll be responsible for inspections, troubleshooting, and emergency repairs that keep production equipment operating smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs
  • Respond to emergency repair needs during production runs efficiently and safely
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues
  • Modify or fabricate equipment as needed to improve reliability
  • Support quick and efficient changeovers to minimize downtime
  • Maintain accurate shift maintenance logs and records
  • Ensure start-up and shut-down procedures of plant equipment are followed
  • Help maintain the upkeep of off-site facilities
  • Work with or around chemicals including caustics, acids, and ammonia
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency support



Qualifications:



  • Experience with maintenance on general computer-operated machinery, industrial electrical systems, and welding
  • Strong background in pump and motor repair
  • Licensed Millwright, preferred
  • Plumbing experience, preferred
  • Good mechanical aptitude with excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and stand/walk for long periods
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Flexible to work varying shifts based on production needs

The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
