Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Manages team members in the engineering department. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, evaluation and support of these team members.
  • Participate in the development, planning and implementation of the MRP system.
  • Research and analyze data, such as supplier design proposal, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application.
  • Assists with final sketch of proposed drawing, checking dimension of parts, materials to be used, relation of one part to another, and relation of various parts to whole structure or project.
  • Utilizes knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials, and other physical sciences to complete drawings.
  • Make any adjustments or changes necessary.
  • Draws charts for representation of statistical data.
  • Draws finished designs from sketches.
  • Use computer assisted drafting (CAD) equipment and software.
  • To follow all EHS guidelines and applicable procedures.
  • Exhibit and grow the Company's values of trust, teamwork, communication, environment, safety, leadership, accountability and excellence.
  • Report any unsafe conditions or incidents in a timely manner to their supervisor or any member of management.
  • Shut down process if unsafe.
  • Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Supervision employees in the Engineering Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Thorough working knowledge of data processing systems (PCs) and related software.
  • Thorough working knowledge of CAD programs.
  • Must attend, complete, and implement required in-house training.

Wage Range for this position is $85,000 - $95,000 annually.
