Position Overview:

As the HR Coordinator for the Glendale facility you'll be a part of the heartbeat of our HR operations, supporting a dynamic workforce of over 250 employees. You'll ensure smooth and efficient HR processes while playing a key role in shaping site culture. From providing critical administrative support to coordinating key HR functions to leading employee engagement and community events, you'll help bring our values to life and create a seamless employee experience. This is an HR role working in a factory and distribution center onsite 5 days per week. The schedule is predominantly first shift, but there is a need for flexibility to support second and third shift hours.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

HR Service Delivery:

  • Serve as a point of contact for the HR team, handling employee inquiries and proactively addressing needs.
  • Offer support to the HR team with tasks as needed.
  • Support annual HR projects such as succession planning, talent reviews, and training and development.

HR Systems & Reporting:

  • Generate, maintain, and analyze reports using Power BI, SuccessFactors, and other systems.
  • Help maintain personnel records by following record retention guidelines.
  • Serve as the Document Control Coordinator for the HR Department.

Employee Experience & Events:

  • Plan and lead employee and community events that reflect our culture and values.
  • Support health and wellbeing activities.
  • Assist with cultural assimilation initiatives and employee engagement programs and committees.
  • Lead the 30-60-90 day review process for hourly employees.

Onboarding & Offboarding:

  • Coordinate onboarding and exit processes.
  • Leverage digital tracking tools to create and maintain checklists.
  • Follow up on upcoming due tasks and secure a backup if task ownership changes.
  • Participate in New Employee Orientation by providing training and coordination support.

Timekeeping & People Scheduling:

  • Support site-wide timekeeping and people scheduling activities using UKG Pro WFM and Indeavor.
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures to ensure consistent execution of timekeeping and people scheduling processes.
  • Serve as the owner of hourly Attendance tracking in UKG Pro WFM.
  • Train leaders and other users on the use of UKG Pro WFM and Indeavor.
  • Support implementation of configuration changes and enhancements.

Recruitment & Job Postings:

  • Manage the site's internal job posting system and track internal movements.
  • Support recruitment activities across all position levels.

Process Improvement:

  • Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance HR operations.

What You'll Bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative support role, ideally in a manufacturing or distribution center environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
