Purpose

While projecting a professional image, this role provides knowledgeable, responsive service to new and existing clients. It supports trust administration services by assisting with client onboarding, managing trust operations, resolving inquiries, and coordinating with financial consultants to match clients with services suited to their individual needs. The Banker helps maintain and service an existing book of business, ensures accurate documentation, and supports operational efficiency and compliance.

Essential Functions:



  • Ensure clients are assisted promptly in person, by telephone, or electronically, meeting or exceeding service standards as defined in the Family Values Playbook.
  • Support client onboarding and administrative processes for trust accounts.
  • Open, update, and close client accounts in accordance with bank policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential written and electronic client files.
  • Assist in preparing estate planning documentation, client review materials, and prospecting packages.
  • Respond to inquiries, resolve customer concerns, or refer them appropriately.
  • Document all client interactions, transactions, complaints, and actions taken.
  • Support document delivery and tracking during tax season.
  • Contribute to annual cross-sell, deposit growth, and profitability goals.
  • Routinely collaborate with Audit and Compliance to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Provide backup administrative support for Trust team as needed.
  • Assist financial consultants and administrators with client projects and community/volunteer events.
  • Other duties, as assigned to aid in supporting department and organizational goals.

Qualifications

Education:



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.



Experience:



  • Minimum of 3 years in trust services.
  • Experience with trust accounting, especially transaction codes and compliance standards.
  • Must be proficient in Adobe and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Trust accounting software (e.g., OneSource or similar platforms).
  • CRM, client database systems, accounting platforms.
  • Bank intranet, email, and employee self-service portals
