Salary Exempt (United States of America) The Director, HRBP is a cultural ambassador, ensuring our Guiding Principles are demonstrated in decisions with all employees. This role serves as strategic partner, advisor and coach to Altium's SG&A leaders and works to define people strategies that will help drive an optimal employee experience and support business objectives. Responsible for strategic planning to include Talent Acquisition and Development, Performance Management, Succession Planning, Employee Relations, and Compliance.

Essential Functions- Roles/Responsibilities

  • Align business objectives with people strategies to execute on HR initiatives
  • Engage in strategic planning that enables proactive assessment of talent for development, retention and succession planning.
  • Manage and resolve employee relations matters, conducting effective and objective investigations as necessary.
  • Partner with leaders to deliver value-added service that helps foster engagement and success for their teams, as well as identify opportunities to improve policies and processes.
  • Provide HR guidance and recommendations to leaders and employees that ensure compliance and align with Altium's Guiding Principles.
  • Support managers with performance management, coaching, and disciplinary action.
  • Partner with HR capability teams to generate solutions that align with business goals and objectives and execute throughout the SG&A organization.
  • Support the development of HR initiatives and approaches to attract, develop, and retain talent.
  • Maintain current knowledge of employment regulations and requirements to ensure compliant practices and procedures.
  • Help identify training and development needs for business units, leaders, and individuals to foster learning and engagement.
  • Oversee talent acquisition specialist/s, providing guidance around recruiting strategies and processes to enable better efficiency.
  • Oversee new hire process, including new hire orientation, to ensure a positive experience for employees and managers, and monitor survey feedback for process improvement opportunities.
  • Support employees at all levels of the company with various HR matters.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in identifying programs and solutions to drive HR initiatives and evaluate solutions for effectiveness and sustainability.

Required Education and Experience

* 3-5 years of experience in an HR Leadership role, i.e. business partner, manager, or director.

* B.S. in HR, Business or related field or equivalent HR experience.

* Experience with Talent Acquisition, Talent Management and Development, Succession Planning, and Employee Relations within a fast-paced environment.

* Experience developing and managing relationships with leaders and cross functional partners.

* Experience leading teams

* Experience with people strategic planning and initiatives, and change initiatives

* Knowledge of employment laws and regulations

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Ability to effectively prioritize

Preferred Education and Experience:

* SHRM or PHR Certification

* Project Management Experience
