About the Role:

The Account Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the sales activities within a specific region. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve commercial goals and objectives.

Your Responsibilities:



  • Sell the full line of Wabash product and services offered through the Truck Body and Upfit & Services value streams
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve commercial goals
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to develop and execute marketing plans
  • Attend trade shows and other industry events to promote products and services
  • Provide regular reports on sales activity, pipeline, and forecast to management
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and competition
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with strategic leasing channel partners, national fleet management companies and national end user fleets
  • Promote Truck Body Build to Order, OEM body programs, Upfit & Service Ready to Mount body program, and parts and service sales opportunities
  • This role will require 40-50% travel


Let's Talk About Your Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales within the transportation industry
  • Strong knowledge of the transportation/logistics industry
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to contribute to cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel
