Responsibilities

In this role, you will:
  • Become the expert level owner of a suite of manufacturing equipment in Keysight's semiconductor manufacturing areas, specializing in either dry etch or lithography.
  • Drive the capital acquisition process for manufacturing equipment.
  • Develop preventive maintenance and repair procedures.
  • Lead equipment repair escalations and oversee maintenance activities.
  • Perform emergency repairs in a manufacturing environment as needed.
  • Coordinate vendor service visits for corrective and preventive maintenance.
  • Drive hardware improvements and automation projects.
  • Collaborate closely with process engineers and operators to support both volume production and R&D process development.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a closely related field.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities and solve complex problems independently.
  • Proficiency with CAD modeling (e.g., SolidWorks, Siemens NX).
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
  • Motivation to pursue a hands-on, engineering career.
  • Strong desire to learn new skills and tackle novel challenges.
  • Engineering experience in a manufacturing or other technical environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in engineering or a closely related field.
  • Proficiency in a common programming language (e.g., Python, C/C++).
  • Experience using SQL for database interaction and data analysis.
  • Background in lithography or dry etch within the semiconductor industry.
  • Experience in chemical or high-hazard manufacturing environments.
  • Technical project management experience.
  • Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
  • Experience with automation platforms (e.g., PLCs, SCADA, or scripting for tool automation).
  • Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and data analysis techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with chemical or gas delivery systems.
  • Strong documentation and technical writing skills.
  • Proficiency in structured troubleshooting methodologies such as 5 Whys, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Fishbone diagrams.

Pay Range:

USD $116,790.00 - USD $194,650.00 Year
