The opportunity

Southern New Hampshire University is seeking student employees to fill the role of Website Assistant for our partner organization Center for the Arts Lake Sunapee Region. The Center for the Arts (CFA) is looking for student employees to help with changing needs of the website. The CFA is at a critical juncture and needs support in developing new pages, new processes, and apps to best manage the growing number of programs and events. It is a great experience for someone interested in website management, marketing, or website design.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Coordinator to manage website structure, navigation, and content updates using WIX or similar platforms.
  • Assist in the design and layout of new web pages to support CFA's expanding programs and events.
  • Support implementation of web-based tools or apps to enhance user experience and improve internal workflows.
  • Maintain consistency in branding and visual style across web pages, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  • Perform routine content audits to ensure information is current and relevant.
  • Draft or edit basic website copy where needed, depending on skill and interest.
  • Help document web-related processes and guidelines to ensure sustainability and ease of maintenance.
  • Participate in brainstorming or planning sessions for new site features and digital engagement strategies.
  • Monitor and report basic analytics or page performance metrics as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in classes as part of a SNHU degree program
  • Work study part of financial aid package
  • Students with work study may be prioritized
  • Experience with organizing information and good writing skills

Work Schedule: Approx. 10 hours per week

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is $12.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
