Senior GIS Specialist

Bolton & Menk has a great opportunity for a Senior GIS Specialist to join our GIS team in our Des Moines office. What You Will Be Doing:

As a Senior GIS Specialist, you will provide expertise on a wide variety of GIS related projects for both internal and external clients. You will be responsible for completing complex analytical analysis and cartographic design, database design, data management, programming, as well as web-based GIS solutions. As an Esri Business Partner, Bolton & Menk leverages the latest GIS software technology and methods for delivering cutting edge results.

What We Are Looking For:

• Degree in Geography, Computer Science or GIS-related field from an accredited college or university
• Six (6) or more years of related GIS experience
• Extensive experience with ESRI ArcGIS Pro software, including Geoprocessing
• Experience configuring and managing ArcGIS Online/Enterprise Maps and Apps
• Experience with high-accuracy GPS data collections
• Knowledge of GIS as it relates to land development, local government, public works, planning, civil engineering, and transportation
• Ability to communicate and promote geospatial solutions through presentations and community engagement activities
• Possess a valid driver's license or have access to public transportation to travel to various facilities and job sites

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in developing automation within the ArcGIS environment using scripting languages such as Python
• Experience with CAD products including AutoDesk Map or Civil 3D
