Job Description

The Program Manager will be a part of a group that oversees Bank and Issuing Risk Solutions. This extends from increasing the success of existing products and owning the delivery of new products and features for the company. In this role, the Program Manager will be responsible for the management, organization and implementation along with the necessary stakeholder communications and review of all aspects of the deployment of small to large-scale initiatives to successfully deliver.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for the commercialization and delivery of product features for the issuer products business unit

  • Work closely with Product Managers, Technical Product Managers and stakeholders to ensure that the program objectives and product initiatives, deliverables, and benefits are documented and achieved

  • Establish standardized procedures, version controls and documentation requirements in partnership with the Documentation Engineer

  • Communicate clearly and regularly with Product Managers, Marketing, Documentation and Technology, Implementation, Support, and occasional with external customers

  • Provide leadership and project direction to others within the group

  • Project definition - including assumptions, risks, constraints and stakeholder identification

  • Scope management - including change management and control, deliverables tracking and reporting

  • Issue and risk management - including identification, mitigation and escalation of issues

  • Internal relationship management - including collaboration and timely internal communications

  • Project performance metrics - establishment, monitoring and reporting

  • Participate in technical and business status reviews

  • Create coordinated delivery schedule

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • In lieu of degree, a high school diploma/equivalent with four or more years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
  • Proven analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Advanced teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Developed information seeking skills and ability to communicate for results
Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 99,700.00 to 144,500.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
