TITLE: New York PDC Manager DUTIES: Responsible for all warehouse operational activities, hourly represented and salaried personnel, fixed assets, financial audit control, parts inventory, and customer satisfaction to nearly 175 Jeep, Dodge, Ram, FIAT and Stellantis US dealerships that receive daily deliveries. World Class Logistics: Conduct WCL World Class Logistic Audits. Ensure all pillars are ready with solid Kaizen to present on the WCL audit; Maintain updated Kaizens Database and positive glide path of benefits at the end of the year; Review all WCL pillars activities. Achieve 5% productivity at the end of the year. Increase WCL score constantly on WCL audits. Safety: Ensure all processes and procedures are in compliance with safety rules and regulations. Ensure all personnel are working safely and according to B.E.S.T guidelines and safety rules and regulations. Perform safety audits as scheduled and required with UAW Committeeman. Understand and ensure compliance with Federal, State and local safety guidelines (Hazmat, DOT, OSHA, etc.). Handle and report all emergencies and accidents. Review and correct all reported/known hazards. Review safety metrics and reports with the Field PDC Manager to develop action plans to eliminate hazards and prevent Accidents. Work with security personnel to ensure a secure workplace. Enforcing the Chrysler Code of Conduct. Ensure Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) cards are completed daily. Quality: Ensure all personnel know, understand and uphold the Mopar quality policy and standards by following quality processes and procedures as documented in MBOS. Lead or participate in review and implementation of quality initiatives, processes and procedures. Review quality metrics and reports with the Field PDC Manager to develop action plans to reduce errors, damage and waste to improve quality. Encourage and participate on the PQI Team to identify and solve quality issues. Perform quality audits of all areas, including stock keeping, picking, packing, loading, returns, cycle counts. Monitor and review the activities and functions of the MRA and QCM clerks. Ensure personnel follow procedures to maintain accurate inventory records; Review quality results as per the three pillars of accountability. Ensure customer satisfaction by interfacing with Dealers and providing solutions and feedback. Delivery: Gather volume data, calculate resource needs and allocate manpower accurately; Ensure that trailers are unloaded, and stock is put away according to procedures and in compliance with throughput and productivity targets. Ensure compliance with receiving policies and procedures. Ensure orders are processed, picked, packed and loaded according to policies and procedures and in compliance with productivity targets. Ensure that referrals are processed in compliance with standards and transportation service levels. Review delivery metrics and reports with DDS Coordinator to develop action plans to reduce delay time and improve the response time. Perform audits of the delivery process and procedures to ensure compliance with standards as documented in MBOS and identify process improvement opportunities. Cost: Follow work circle protocols to avoid under- or over-staffing. Use DView to account for employee hours. Use C.A.T.S. to pay employees. Ensure productivity goals and objectives are met by monitoring workloads and employee activity. Ensure sufficient inventory of operational supplies. Ensure Mopar equipment and supplies are used properly and limits or eliminates waste. Morale: Ensure compliance with policies and procedures regarding employee attendance, tardiness, conduct, grievances, and discipline issues. Comply with the Chrysler Integrity Code and all corporate policies. communicating effectively with CAW/UAW representatives. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or Logistics, Communications, or related and 5 years of experience in job offered or related in Service, Parts and Customer Care Management or related. Experience must include: working with continuous improvement systems and lean manufacturing; managing daily operations within a union environment; using DVIEW WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), including MARCS, for optimizing inventory tracking, managing supply chain logistics, and forecasting demand; using data analytics tools, including Qlickview; experience with automated processes, including conveyor systems, robotics and automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS); working with Continuous Improvement Systems including Six Sigma and Kaizen.** Up to 20% domestic travel required** OTHER: Job Site: 108 NY-303, Tappan, NY 10983. 40 hours/week.
