This role is focused on creating and analyzing complex cryptographic question-answer scenarios to assess how well LLMs understand, reason through, and offer advice related to quantum-safe cryptographic strategies. This is an ideal role for candidates who bring a strong foundation in cryptographic algorithms, are up to date on NIST PQC efforts, and are passionate about securing the future of digital systems in a quantum computing world. Key Responsibilities:
Create robust question-answer pairs evaluating LLM understanding of PQC principles Analyze quantum resistance of both classical and post-quantum cryptographic algorithms Recommend quantum-safe alternatives in real-world cryptographic use cases Explain implications of quantum computing on current and future cryptographic standards Assess LLM reasoning regarding future threat models and trade-offs in PQC adoption Evaluate cryptographic advice provided by LLMs against industry and research standards
Required Skills:
5+ years of cybersecurity experience, with specific focus on cryptography Advanced understanding of post-quantum cryptographic techniques Familiarity with quantum-resistant algorithm types (e.g., lattice-based, code-based) Knowledge of cryptographic standards such as those from NIST PQC standardization Strong communication skills, with ability to clearly explain cryptographic trade-offs Analytical mindset for evaluating security implications of cryptographic design Familiarity with cryptographic libraries (OpenSSL, Libsodium, etc.) Proficiency in languages used in crypto: Python, C/C++, Java
