Aon Is Looking for an Vice President, Enterprise Client Relationship Leader

We currently have an exciting career opportunity for an Vice President, Enterprise Client Relationship Leader with a flexible (Remote/Hybrid) schedule; Preferred proximity to Plainview/Long Island/New York. This position will support Aon's Travel practice group within Aon Affinity.

What the day will look like:
  • This executive will own and expand relationships with our largest enterprise partners-operating as a trusted advisor to leading cruise lines, global tour operators, and major travel suppliers. The role is critical to revenue growth, client retention, and delivering high-value, scalable travel insurance solutions tailored to the evolving travel ecosystem. A strong background in business development is a major plus, particularly with complex enterprise clients.
  • Develop and implement strategies to lead, retain, and expand relationships with credible travel industry clients. Using strong business acumen and a consultative approach, align our services with their strategic objectives, adapting to market shifts and client demands.
  • Identify and capitalize on upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts. Drive consultative, data-informed growth strategies across cruise lines, tour operators, and travel distribution partners.
  • Build and cultivate long-term partnerships by identifying new revenue opportunities, negotiating renewals, and expanding contractual scope with existing clients. Find opportunities to work across Aon businesses in support of client expansion as part of our 3x3 strategy.
  • Support commercial strategy through targeted development efforts, particularly in adjacent or underserved sectors within the travel vertical. Leverage deep knowledge of travel supplier ecosystems to open new doors and influence decision-makers.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of enterprise relationship managers. Develop a culture of ownership, excellence, and accountability aligned with client outcomes.
  • Work closely with product, marketing, operations, and claims teams to ensure integrated service delivery. Be the internal advocate for your clients' success.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the cruise, tour, and broader travel sectors. Track competitive moves, policy trends, and innovations to inform proactive client strategies.
Skills and experience that will lead to success:
  • 10+ years in enterprise client relationship management, consulting, or strategic growth roles
  • Shown experience leading and growing complex enterprise accounts-ideally in travel, insurance, or hospitality sectors.
  • Business development experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and executive presence.
  • Deep familiarity with the business models and dynamics of cruise lines, tour operators, and travel aggregators.
  • Experience delivering B2B2C or embedded insurance solutions (e.g. travel insurance, warranty, service contracts, ticket protection, etc.).
  • Global client exposure and comfort operating across time zones and cultures.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to create and deliver program performance analytics to clients and prospects to drive client value.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus

Pay Transparency Laws

The salary range for this position is $150,000 to $190,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
