Position Summary:

The Customer Service Administrator is responsible for curating a safe and welcoming environment for employees and visitors and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the reception desk and lobby area of Goodwill-Easter Seals' St. Paul Campus.

Day in the life: In a typical day, a Customer Service Administrator can expect to...



  • Customer Service & Reception: Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the front desk and lobby area of the St. Paul Campus.
  • Administrative & Office Support: Provide administrative support within the Donated Goods Retail (DGR) Operations team and broader areas, as directed by the DGR Operations Manager.
  • Safety & Security: Assist in ensuring a safe environment for employees, visitors, and participants.



Job Pay & Perks:



  • Pay range: $18.41 - $26.48/hr
  • This is an on-site/office-based role whose essential functions require the individual to work at a physical location which may include a GESMN or partner facility.

About You:

Required Knowledge & Skills:



  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and concisely to employees and visitors.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize demands, and solve problems creatively.
  • Strong customer service, problem-solving, and de-escalation skills.
  • Ability to exercise discretion while handling confidential information.
  • Ability to remain calm and assertive in escalated situations.
  • Ability to maintain and communicate firm boundaries regarding any non-related task requests.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Must have the ability to work Mondays - Fridays from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.



Prior Experience & Education:



  • 2-4 years relevant reception and/or customer service experience required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
