Family Health Centers of San Diego is looking for a Clinical Quality Analyst to work under the supervision and direction the Director of Quality Improvement and Innovation. You will provide data and analytical support to the Clinical Quality Committee and its workgroups as assigned.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for reviewing, interpreting, and analyzing quality and utilization data and creating reports to support clinical outcomes and performance initiatives
  • Lead monthly validation of health plan data in analytic tools and reports
  • Analyze and interpret data from various sources and integrate the data to drive improvements in quality and performance metrics
  • Support performance insights
  • Maintain and foster relationships with health plan partners, medical and operational leadership on analytic-related projects.
  • Develop, review, and update quality improvement dashboards, scorecards, and metrics as needed
  • Identify potential data issues and work to correct, collect, and update data
  • Troubleshoot data entry, data processing procedures, and database efficiency and accuracy
  • Independently perform data analysis (e.g., longitudinal and multilevel modeling, survival analysis, sample size estimation, etc.) using statistical software packages such as R, SAS, or STATA.
  • Independently document all statistical software coding and systematically archive results from analyses
  • Working knowledge and experience with HEDIS/UDS performance measures and population health initiatives
  • Act in a liaison capacity between appropriate management personnel and staff, transmitting decisions and information to organizational units as appropriate, as well as outside agencies and organizations
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in health or analytics-related fields (Health Informatics, Bioinformatics, Statistics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, etc.) or a related area and/or equivalent training and experience.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the skills, knowledge and ability to perform the essential job duties, and which meets any required state or federal certification requirements.
  • At least seven (7) years of healthcare experience preferred
  • At least five (5) years of quality improvement preferred
  • Experience and proven success with in-depth knowledge of QI standards, clinical chart review and abstraction, and regulatory requirements.
  • Must meet organizational driving requirements.

68,640.00 - 93,575.25

If you are hired at Family Health Centers of San Diego, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, jurisdictional requirements, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to these factors - we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth.
