Description and Requirements

We are seeking a motivated and collaborative HR Partner to join our dynamic global HR team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone passionate about human resources and eager to grow their career by supporting key HR initiatives across a global business environment. You will work closely with business leaders and HR colleagues to deliver high-impact HR solutions that enhance the employee experience, business performance and organizational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Experience: Partner within HR and with leaders and business teams to enhance employee engagement, onboarding, and retention strategies.
  • Employee Relations: Help address business or employee concerns by gathering information, supporting investigations, and ensuring consistent application of company policies and adherence to local laws.
  • Performance Management: Support the planning and execution of performance review cycles, including goal setting, feedback, and development planning.
  • Compensation Planning: Provide support during annual compensation reviews, including data preparation, analysis, and manager communication.
  • Organization Effectiveness: Assist in organizational strategies, change management initiatives, and workforce planning activities.
  • HR Data & Reporting: Ensure accuracy of employee records to be used for analysis and supporting data-driven decision-making.
  • Global Collaboration: Work with HR colleagues and business leaders across the globe to ensure local alignment and consistency in HR practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field such as Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in an HR-related role, internship, or co-op preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a global mindset.
  • Analytical thinker with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Learning agile to quickly understand and apply processes and policies.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - particularly Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Comfortable with AI assistant and increasing productivity through technology.
  • Experience with HRIS systems is a plus.

The base salary budgeted range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission. This is a hybrid position 3 days per week at our downtown Chicago location.
