Director, Product Management - Software Defined Infrastructure

What You'll Do:

We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced leader for our Software Defined Infrastructure product team, to be the internal and external face of this strategic segment to drive innovation and business growth. This candidate will lead an experienced team responsible for setting the strategy, owning the products, and delivering the business results for our hyperconverged, converged, and hybrid Cloud solutions. This is a highly visible leadership role that is accountable to drive strategy, portfolio management, and P&L ownership for the business. This leadership position will lead and collaborate with multiple Lenovo teams including sales, engineering, marketing, operations, supply chain, and services, to define and deliver industry leading products and business results. The leader will also work closely with our key strategic partners to extend our strategic alliance and differentiation.

Responsibilities:

• ThinkAgile product offering roadmap and strategy across multiple lines of products.
• Be an internal and external evangelist for ISG and ThinkAgile
• Create and lead new growth opportunities for converged solutions.
• Engage and present to senior leadership team on a regular basis
• Develop and coordinate key strategic initiatives and partnerships
• Make strong investment and business-based decisions for the SDI portfolio based on market and competitive data
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team responsible for individual product offerings in the portfolio
• Drive modern technology and innovations by understanding market and product fit
• Drive cross-functional initiatives with leaders in other product teams and functional groups
• Maintain and extend a diverse global team of product managers

Basic Qualifications:

* 5+ years of product management experience in the enterprise space

* 3+ years of manager experience

* Thorough knowledge of SW defined infrastructure, Hyperconverged, Cloud solutions and storage

* Ability to present to executives and key customers, SI's, and at conferences and events

* Strong financial acumen and ability to drive business growth in a fast-paced environment

* Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with diverse global teams

* Strong messaging and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into simple messaging

Preferred Qualifications:

* 10+ years of product management experience with converged / hyperconverged products.

* Understanding of Storage, compute and network virtualization is preferred

* Customer satisfaction mindset

* Goal oriented, organized, initiative-taking, creative, have a strong attention to detail, and have the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team with sales, R&D, finance, and operations
