Job Summary

UW Health in northern Illinois is currently seeking APPs (Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants) with a background in Neurology to join our newly developing program.

UW Health Swedish American Hospital is a 350-bed hospital in the heart of Rockford, Illinois. Located just over 90 miles west of Chicago, the Rockford region has many exemplary amenities with exceptional growth potential in all specialties of neurology.

Roles will include general neurology with an opportunity to focus in subspecialty fields including:



  • Neuroimmunology / MS
  • Movement Disorders
  • Epilepsy
  • Neuromuscular
  • Dementia / Memory Care
  • Lifestyle Medicine


We will be a collaborative network working within the framework of ongoing continued process improvement; always striving to make a better program with excellent patient experience.

Qualifications:



  • Master's degree from accredited PA program or completion of a master's level advanced practice nurse program.
  • Active APRN or PA license in State of IL and active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
