Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Integrity Engineer with robust experience in pipeline integrity management, specifically focusing on In-Line Inspection (ILI) programs and Risk management. This role is critical to ensuring the continued safe and reliable operation of our client's pipeline systems through data analysis, defect assessments, and proactive risk mitigation strategies. The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Individual (QI) capable of making repair decisions based on ILI findings and have a strong command of data visualization tools such as Unity Charts.


Responsibilities

  • Support the In-Line Inspection (ILI) process from tool selection to post-run data analysis and validation.
  • Serve as a Qualified Individual (QI) to make repair calls based on ILI results and dig findings that are in accordance with regulatory and client standards.
  • Support development of Unity Charts and other visualization tools to track and validate ILI tool performance.
  • Interpret and integrate ILI data with pipeline alignment sheets, stationing, and historical asset data.
  • Evaluate pipe materials, wall thickness, and weld types to support defect assessment and repair planning.
  • Perform pipeline risk assessments, identify potential threats, and recommend actionable mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., GIS, ILI analysts, and project engineering), ILI tool vendors, and clients to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and reporting to support audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory submissions.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Materials or Mechanical engineering preferred, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of direct experience with ILI tools and technologies.
  • Proven experience as a Qualified Individual (QI) for repair decision-making post-ILI.
  • Strong understanding of pipeline construction, stationing, and materials.
  • Hands-on experience developing and interpreting Unity Charts and other integrity-related data visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with pipeline risk modeling methodologies.
  • Experience with state or federal pipeline audits and working with auditors.
  • Strong writing and quality checking skills to develop reports for clients.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.

Salary Range

USD $50.00 - USD $55.00 /Hr.
