Apply to this posting for Future Opportunities with KLA. This job opening is in KLA's advanced mask software applications product team. The team develops state-of-the-art computational algorithms and software applications that leading-edge semiconductor mask-shops and wafer fab customers use in their production flows to get best sensitivity and performance from their mask inspection and review systems. The Technical Product Manager will have the unique opportunity to work with this talented team of software and algorithm development and also customer engineers to architect and develop solutions that resolve challenging problems in the area of mask defect disposition and data management. Responsibilities: Following are typical responsibilities of the Mask Technical Product Manager role: * Engage with mask-shop and fab reticle requal customers to understand their challenges, requirements for possible solutions, and develop and deliver on these solutions to resolve their issues * Come up with new application use-case ideas to find continuous improvements in production mask-making and reticle requal flows * Leverage advanced image processing, optical and lithography modeling, and numerical and AI methods to resolve some of the toughest customer problems in the mask defect disposition space. * Develop and socialize clear requirements for new use-cases, and brainstorm on possible technology approaches with Algo, software and expert application engineers. * Build strong positive relationships and credibility with internal engineering teams, key customers and field teams leveraging their strengths and support to deliver on software solutions. * Drive key projects and customer engagements through weekly progress meetings. * Prepare program updates and clearly communicate progress, issues, help needed and plans with upper management. * Technical lead (individual contributor) or engineering manager role depending on relevant experience. * Travel on-average up to 25% to customer sites, especially when supporting new product qualification. Preferred Qualifications: * Proven track-record working with customers in semiconductor industry, committing and delivering on software solutions to improve mask or wafer yield and turn-around-time. * Strong team player, able to lead and influence teams. Experience managing development teams of 10+ engineers a plus. * Experience with semiconductor lithography modeling, OPC/Verification, mask inspection and/or defect disposition. * Experience in UNIX/Linux programming, MATLAB and scripting in Shell, Python, Perl, PHP, or HTML. * Understand software development, test, release, and qualification cycle. * Excellent communication, project management, organization, analytical and interpersonal skills. * Strong problem solving skills and perseverance, self-driven yet strong team player.
