This opportunity is in the Account Services department

Responsible for seeing policies through to the finish line, our Account Services department facilitates the processes between Claims, Underwriting, and our brokers. Ranging from rating services to audits to operational guidance, the available career opportunities are abundant with varying levels of specialty. Role Description:

As a Premium Audit Coordinator, you will play a critical role in the accurate and timely completion of primary premium audits for large casualty and primary accounts. You'll independently manage the full audit lifecycle-from coordinating with vendors and scheduling audits, to analyzing documentation and submitting endorsements. Your ability to interpret and apply classification and audit rules will be essential in ensuring policy accuracy and compliance. You'll act as a liaison between internal stakeholders, vendors, brokers, and insureds to facilitate timely and effective audits while troubleshooting issues and handling disputes. Non-exempt: Please note, this position is classified as Non-Exempt under federal wage and hour laws. As such, you will be required to clock in and out for all hours worked and will be eligible for overtime pay for any hours worked over 40 in a given workweek.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or a related field preferred. Equivalent training, education, and experience in the P&C insurance industry may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Required Qualifications:



  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  • This position allows for a hybrid work schedule which includes a minimum of 3 days per week in our St. Louis Corporate Office, located at 1832 Schuetz Rd. Saint Louis, MO. All employees are required to submit work from home requests and follow our Work From Home policy, which will be provided to all candidates selected to interview.
  • Minimum 2 years of premium audit or other P&C operations experience in workers' compensation, general liability, and commercial auto.
  • Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to identify errors and apply classification rules.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Insurance designations such as APA, CPCU, or others are a plus.
  • 3 or more years of experience in premium audit or similar insurance operations roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with NCCI, PAAS, and state bureau classification and manual rules.

Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience and geographic location.
