Now Hiring: Senior Mortgage Closer Location: Phoenix, AZ \| Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Department: Mortgage Fulfillment Division (MFD) Are you a detail-driven mortgage professional with a passion for precision and process? Join our dynamic Mortgage Fulfillment Division as a Senior* Mortgage Closer* and play a critical role in ensuring smooth, compliant, and timely closings-without ever having to speak directly with borrowers! What You'll Do: * Perform complex data and document validation to ensure accuracy and compliance * Evaluate loan applications for eligibility and alignment with FHA, VA, and other product guidelines * Handle escalated or complex communications via email, chat, or internal systems * Complete appraisal eligibility tasks and collaborate with multiple departments to resolve issues and expedite processing * Support various channels within the Mortgage Fulfillment Division with a focus on efficiency and service excellence * Use Encompass and other systems to manage closing workflows and documentation * Demonstrate behaviors aligned with our company's values and culture What You Bring: * 3+ years of experience in the mortgage industry with a strong background in closing and funding * Proficiency in Encompass and knowledge of FHA/VA loan products * Experience in loan servicing, compliance, and document review * Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage complex tasks independently * A collaborative mindset and commitment to operational excellence Why You'll Love Working With Us: * Competitive compensation and benefits package * A supportive, team-oriented environment * No borrower-facing calls-focus on what you do best behind the scenes! * Opportunities for growth and advancement in a thriving mortgage division Additional Skills & Qualifications Roles to look for on candidate resume's Sr. Closer Mortgage Closing Manager Lead Mortgage Closer Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
