Featured Job Physical Therapist, Per Diem (Acute Rehab) SFH Rehab Services Per Diem 85408BR Job Summary We're excited to offer a $5,000 sign-on bonus for qualified Per Diem Physical Therapists joining our inpatient team at Saint Francis and St. Mary's Hospitals within the Rehabilitation Services Department. This is an inpatient position within Saint Francis/St. Mary's Hospitals' Rehabilitation Services Department. The Per Diem Physical Therapist reports to the Clinical Supervisor and provides both direct and indirect patient care services. This role primarily serves adult and geriatric patients from diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. Therapists with pediatric competencies and clinical experience may also treat infants, children, and/or adolescents. Under general direction and upon receipt of licensed approved provider written referrals, the Per Diem Physical Therapist plans and administers a full range of physical therapy services for patients with various physical and cognitive impairments and disabilities. The Per Diem Physical Therapist maintains all applicable patient care documentation and may supervise support personnel, including Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehabilitation Aides. As part of the clinical care team, this role also contributes to department-wide initiatives related to compliance, quality, safety, and continuous process improvement. Schedule Requirements:

An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate AND the current salary level of individuals working at UCSF in a similar role. For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement, there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range.
